now, because this is the client off of the internet and there's been an update, I need to wait a long time for gw to load.. will I need to do this every time I go through a portal? Cause it's taken about half an hour.

well, 83% now, I think this is te only 11,500 file download on the game I think... probably because of the update.

Your first 2-3 times will be much slower than usual, then it should pick up.

Can't you just copy your GW.dat from your original installation? That's where all the downloaded stuff goes to.

Or you could do a -image once and then almsot eveything will be there, after years of downloading
